Almost 6 years ago, my tech team began to compile my personal quotes and built a website that became a free daily internet quote service. These are quotes or as I call them, “ologies” that I live and lead by and teach in my messages, both corporately and in the church world. Some quotes are stand alone, while others are in the context of what I am speaking in a message. For several years, I have thought about doing a book with one of my Leadershipologies on one page and the TBQ…Thought Behind the Quote on the other. The time has come and is here! I am very excited because my heart and purpose in life is expressed in a Leadershipology: 
“When you elevate your thinking, you elevate your life.”
 
This book is an extension and expression of the vision, mission, purpose and passion I have to help elevate people’s thinking, so they can elevate their lives. A Leadershipology is a quote that expresses a leadership thought that can be applied as a philosophy of life. I have defined leadership as:
 
“The capacity of an individual to grow and advance personally that creates an ability to empower others to do the same.”
 
The “ology” part of leadership beyond a concept, but as a philosophy of life would be expressed as a leadershipology. So based on my definition of leadership, in the essence of the words that describe the definition of leadership are the words:

 · Capacity of an individual
 · Grow
 · Advance personally
 · Creates
 · Ability
 · Empower
 · Others
 
The “ology” is born out of the philosophy of life that deal with the “how does this happen?” The “how does this happen?” of a person increasing their capacity for leadership by growing and advancing personally that creates an ability to empower others to do the same, unlocks the Leadershipology.
 
The “how” in this context is:
 
 · Discover your Passion
 · Develop your Vision
 · Deploy your Greatness
 
The Leadershipology is established when the dots of what something is from a leadership perspective and how the what of something happens comes together. So let’s connect the dots of Leadership as a philosophy of life. We are taking what the definition of leadership is and showing the “ology” of how it happens and thus, creating a Leadershipology:
 
First, the capacity of an individual begins to increase when they Discover their Passion.
Second, they begin to grow and advance personally as they Develop their Vision…which creates…
Third, an ability to empower others as they Deploy their Greatness.
 
The Leadershipology that is born out of the definition of leadership and answering the “how does this happen?” that becomes the “ology” or philosophy of life is:
 
“Leadership is the capacity of an individual to discover their passion, grow and advance personally by developing their vision that creates an ability to empower others as they deploy their greatness, to do the same.”
